We saw a few Neutras while roaming the streets of L.A. We street gawked at the Lovell Health House (1927-1929), one of Modern architecture's iconic homes.
We also toured Neutra's VDL Studio and Residences (1932; burned in 1963 and subsequently redesigned and rebuilt). It's got a lot of 60s and 70s materials going on and a lot of mirrors, but it has the hands down best connection between indoors and outdoors I've ever seen because I literally had to stop and look around to determine if I was inside or outside the house at one point (I was outside).
There's a collection of Neutra's down the street on a street named (ahem): Neutra Place!
