Despite being solidly behind the theory of gardening via wicking, we still had concerns as to whether or not it would really work. And how would we know? One way of knowing is whether or not the tanks needed more water after sitting a week with no rain. And sure enough, they did, the small one taking two gallons to top off and the big one taking six gallons. No place for that water to go but up! And the plants look great.
Bring on the summer heat!
