Frank Lloyd Wright's Sturges house on the auction block February 21st

Courtesy of Los Angeles Modern Auctions; estimated to go for $2.5 to $3 million. With 1,200 square feet, that's a gulp-inducing $2,100 to $2,500 a square foot. I thought that was probably high, but looking at available houses in the are on Trulia, and all of them are multi-million.

This is one my favoritest houses in the world. I doubt I could live there (so dark, so small), but it's simply gorgeous. If I bought it, I'd live in a tent in the front yard down the hill and simply look at it all day.
