The salesdude said to plan on about $1,000 a foot for the cabinets (no countertop, no installation, assuming this includes uppers). Gulp. <br /><br />For comparison’s sake, off the shelf cabinets generally run $75 to $250 per foot, semi-customs generally run $150 to $500 per foot, and customs $300 to more than $1,200 a foot. Kraftmaid, a semi-custom, comes in at about $210 per linear foot. I think IKEA comes in at $150 a foot (add $50 per foot for installation).
